  • Children+

At The Pleasure Garden we wish to encourage diversity and inclusivity and that extends to our party people with children! After feedback from previous events, and a successful trial in 2017. We are excited once again in 2018 to have families join us for a day of decadence, great art and music!

We have worked with local stakeholders to be permitted to have children accompanied by a parent or guardian on the event site as long as they are always monitored by their responsible adult.

    Responsible Adults
‍A responsible adult is a person who is over the age of 18 years and is the minor’s parent, step-parent, guardian, grandparent or a person who is acting in place of a parent and who could reasonably be expected to exercise responsible supervision of the minor (older siblings are not allowed to be a responsible person for the purposes of this event).

    Processing and Management Onsite
‍There will be a special family lane at the front gate where families will be required to be processed. All children will be given a special brightly coloured wristband where the responsible parents name and phone number will be written. Any child found onsite without their parent present will be taken to the front gate and their parents will be called.

    Child, Kid and Teen Ticket
‍There are a limited number of kids tickets available, so that we can cater to all of our partygoers adequately, and registrations are required online for kids under 8 and tickets are required to be purchased for kids aged 8-17.

This occurs at our warehouse in Maidstone (near Highpoint Shopping Centre) and also onsite (in St Kilda). Volunteers can also help on the morning of the event and thru the start of the event, with elements like ticket scanning, wristbanding, artist services, info booth, crowd care and many more fun roles. All volunteers will be given a Gardener T-Shirt, free access to the festival and other fun perks!
